Wonderful!!! I have just started to pray the Liturgy of the Hours. This app is perfect with clear instructions and is easy to use. Highly recommended!! And its entirely portable and reliable!! Praise Jesus!!!

Two small things: 1) Including the propers would be awesome. 2) Embedding the readings, propers, etc. into the order of Mass (so we can just scroll down one long page to follow along) would be even more awesome.

I bought this when it was still priced at $32. It was way overpriced! Well, there were no other options before. (Its current price is still high when other apps function the same way.) Now, there are better ones. I have imissal, and Im very happy with it (only $4.99). And iBreviary, which gives you the whole mass, prayers, liturgy of the hours, readings, and other rites. And its free. (of course, you have to download every now and then which can last you for 2 to 3 weeks). Universalis has the liturgy of the hours but the translation doesnt match official translation so that you cannot really join in community recitation for having a different version. Will I recommend universalis? If its your first time, you can get the 2 apps above, cheaper, free, and it will do the job as a combination.

Very useful and versatile ap, however it would be a great ap if it also in concluded in the order of mass the collect prayer, the prayer over the gifts and the prayer after communion for each day. If those were added it could conceivably save thousands of altar servers arms from having to hold the new 20 lb Roman Missal.

The full app is well worth the money. It is wonderful to have all the reading from both the breviary and mass available to me anywhere. Format is well done and easy to read. Thank you for your work and cant wait to see whats next.

By far, the easiest way to use pray the Liturgy of the Hours. No jumping around to find the complementary psalms, several platforms available, so you never need to be without your breviary. I love that the optional commerations are included. Ive tried other e-breviaries, but this one is definitely a keeper.

Update: The new version is even better… the "mass today" combines all the different prayers, antiphons, readings, and order of mass into one. So great. Keep up the good work, Universalis! ---- This app is great for a few reasons: 1. All of the content for every day of the year for all three years of the cycle is offline, on the app. No Internet connection whatsoever is required. 2. The app is very well programmed, with hardly any bugs or crashes. 3. The daily mass readings are the same word for word NAB translations used at mass. 4. The Order of the Mass texts and the readings are formatted nicely and very easy to read. 5. With the price of this app you also get the desktop version of the app for Mac. The "about today" feature is also great. The only thing I would change is that itd be nice if the LOTH texts were the same as in the USA breviary, though thats not a huge deal. Overall this app is fantastic- youll use it every day!

Now you can use it to say Mass when traveling because it has the priest part too. Fr Mike

Great app. Great prayer tool for when traveling.

Easy to navigate, customize, which are great strengths, in addition to being able to adjust the font size on the fly (no need to get out the reading glasses at mass!). Think twice or three times before changing the navigation because its the strength of this product.

I love this app. It has almost everything I can think of to make it possible to follow Mass, to pray, to read.... The two things I would love to see are the response of the responsorial psalm in both languages selected (i.e. in English and in French) and a selection of votive Masses as well as that Mass of the day, or of the feast. I love reading about all those venerable English martyrs... great examples for us today. Thanks, Universalis!

I use it as a missal and for the divine office.

This has always been a great app for praying the Divine Office, but it has now gotten even better with the addition of Latin for all the hours of the day. I am truly impressed

I have used this app daily for over a year. I am totally satisfied with its content and its performance. It is easy to use and offers a variety of options. I love that one price pays for use on all my devices. Worth every penny.

You can now pray the Divine Office everyday even without Internet connection. Wonderful

Feb 4 update erratically transitions between landscape and portrait. Landscape seems more stable but titles for psalms are sometimes incomplete. Transition to portrait may result in blank pages. This is surprising since previous versions have behaved very well. Similar problems on both iPad 3 and iPhone 5C running iOS7.

This is a great service if you have the pre iOS7 version. The iOS 7 version is very hard to read. My opinion: dont take the update.
